Alexander Lutenkov is a documentary
filmmaker and scriptwriter who also created several films about
dance. Alexander completed over 20 films and was one of the
nominees at the scriptwriters' competition "New Times".
His film "Gathering at the end of the world" received
the BRONZE BEAR prize at the Festival of the Nations in Austria
and was an official selection of Videodance Festival in France.
Alexander is famous for his articles and publications such as
"Sacred Sea" and "Underwater Special Forces".
He took part in many theatre and internet projects including
performances "STEPS" by Nikolai Ogryzkov and "Two
Seasons" by Pascaline Verié. He is the editor of
the internet journal "Parallel Journeys" and the founder
of the internet projects FOTOBANK ALAN SYDD and docport.ru.

This
film-portrait tells the story of Moscow choreographer Nikolai
Ogryzkov who founded the very first private modern dance school
in Russia. The film follows his entire career – from
a dancer of the Igor Moisyeyev folk dance ensemble to the
founder of his school. This film is about life in dance and
life, which stopped because of the impossibility to dance...
"Gathering

This
film follows the tour of the Frédéric Lescure
dance company (France) in Russia as Lescure is auditioning
Russian performers for his performance which has a premiere
during the tour.
